We think you’re really going to like what we have in production. For years Rogue Marketing Systems has created short “sketch videos” for clients. Part of our magic is a well-crafted script, creative images, sound bites and visuals from movies and songs. They’re entertaining, instructive, and often hilarious. If you’re like me, you often get lyrics from a song or the best lines from a movie stuck in your head. Think of the Tom Cruise movie Jerry Maguire, when Cuba Gooding Jr. yells over the phone, Show me the money! Lessons from the Shark Tank

What we actually see on TV is just a small portion of the actual presentation, disclosure and events that precede the contestants’ pitch. Regardless, this reality show is still instructive; notice how soon after the contestants’ demonstration and big picture dream is presented, the Sharks start asking the tough questions. Some of the most revealing and enlightening ones include: How long have you been in business? What are your gross sales and net profit? How many purchase orders do you have signed? What percentage of your business is online, retail, wholesale? One of my favorite is what’s your cost of customer acquisition? Pay attention to that answer and watch the expressions on the Sharks faces. Airs on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.

As I write to you from high atop my second floor mastermind hideout, I’ll share with you that often the first question we ask every morning is, who are we going to help today? Right now that’s YOU! Read on to learn more about what we have planned to help you grow your business and work smarter, not just harder.

Let us begin…

Welcome to the first issue on my newest and most valuable newsletter ever. Okay, that might be just a bit of hype. I promise to deliver my best professional sales and marketing dissertations, and spice it up with my perspectives on life, relationships and the pursuit of happiness. And NO marketing Hocus Pocus crap.
 
Up until two years ago I’ve always maintained frequent communications with my clients, offering professional advice and sharing valuable information through various forums. Why did I STOP? Because sometimes I’m an idiot. I made a mistake I’d never allow a friend or client to make. I fooled myself and told my readers I was too busy and wanted to focus more on my clients’ businesses than my own. It was dumb thinking. Avoid doing that.
 
For reasons that will become wildly obvious over the next few months, these new communications are being integrated both online and offline (Yeah, even old-fashioned snail mail). 

Who Do You Surround Yourself  With And What Are You Reading?

The quality of our lives is determined by the quality of the questions we ask of ourselves.  I first heard this statement from the booming voice of Tony Robbins. Now, I’m sure big Tony wasn’t the first person to make that statement, but it’s important and worth repeating. Another great motivational speaker, Charlie “T” Jones, inspired millions on the virtues of self-improvement by telling his audiences, You are the same today as you’ll be in five years except for two things, the people you meet and the books you read. 

As a writer, I hope you’ll take time to read and gain value from the ideas and proven methods I teach from facts, not fads or fiction. Perhaps in five years or a lot sooner we will celebrate and toast all the successes we’ve shared. Starting right now. You are one among a select group hand selected to join our “Rogue Pride”. I believe we have something unique to offer one another. The value of positive association and teamwork cannot be overstated. I couldn’t have accomplished what I have and produced millions in profits for my clients without other people’s involvement and influence in my life. Nobody is born knowing what it takes being in the trenches 20 years to learn and apply.
